I have a new swing trade for you this morning!
Here's what we're doing:
BUY TO OPEN EWY AT $83 OR LOWER.
SELL SHORT EWH AT $23.60 OR HIGHER.
And for an options play:
BUY EWY 1/15/21 $83 CALLS AT $2.30 OR LOWER.
BUY EWH 1/15/21 $25 PUTS AT $1.45 OR LOWER.
Asia is on the rebound — everywhere except Hong Kong, that is. I chose this Money Link based on the money flows I’m seeing into Asia. EWY, the Korean exchange-traded fund (ETF), is catching the same flows as tech in the U.S. I anticipate this trend to continue into the early new year and close out the year strong. Meanwhile, Hong Kong is the whipping boy of China. And with a dovish U.S. administration toward China coming in, I expect Hong Kong to come under pressure and investors to run for the exits.
It’s important to execute both sides of the link at the same time and to respect the limit levels mentioned above — never chase a trade.
